She had a life threatening illness for years, then when she started receiving energy sessions several years ago it helped her body physically heal on levels she and the doctors didn't think was possible. Jen believes there are many reasons for the improvement in her health like having faith, willingness to be healed and never giving up, but one of the reasons is definitely due to the energy healing. The transformations that have taken place on how she thinks, feels and expresses love are on a much deeper level than before Jen started this journey of receiving sessions and learning about healing. Because of the dramatic results she has gone through she really wishes for others to be able to experience the same kind of healing. Of course, we have to be willing to truly want to heal ourselves and our lives, only then, can the spiritually guided energy can do the rest! Jen was initiated into the Kriya Yoga tradition in 2006 at the Center for Spiritual Awareness in Georgia by Roy Eugene Davis, who is a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda. The Sanskrit word kriya means "action." Yoga can mean the practices used to facilitate overall well-being and spiritual growth, or oneness-consciousness. Jen continues to practice Kriya Yoga meditations daily, which are a concentrated approach to Self-discovery and spiritual growth . Jen really loves people and she wants to help in any way that she is able. Jen has found through her own experiences that she's overcome in life that she can connect with people on a deep level of understanding their own pain and how to go forward as a happy, centered, peaceful person. She feels no matter what we have gone through in life we can always learn to find our way and feel whole again. Positive thinking is one way Jen lives her life, her attitude is to be grateful everyday for the people and circumstances in her life. She feels there is always something to be grateful for, when we focus on the negative in our lives it magnifies and makes it stronger. Jen's opinion is, if we can learn to train our minds to look to the positive in our lives and focus on that instead of the negative, it can be life changing for you as it has been for her! Meditation and Metaphysical studies have been a huge part of Jen's journey to grow and heal. We all have something that has to be healed in our lives and there are ways to help us do that. Meditation has helped her in many ways, there are all kinds of techniques for focusing on quieting the busy mind, which can help with feeling peaceful and centered. When the mind is calm and focused in the present, it is neither reacting to memories from the past nor being preoccupied with plans for the future. Learning different spiritual aspects, uncovering the truth of life and Higher Knowledge is a passion of Jens. Jen would love to share her gifts with you and help you on your journey to discover your own gifts. She will show you the tools that will help you consciously connect mind, body and spirit. One of Jen's goals is to help people understand that illness and physical pain can be caused from energy blocks within the body. It is important to remove the blocks and increase the energy flow - the more balanced the energy, the healthier we are. The rest is up to you. Love & Light!
Close To My Heart To me, there is such inspiration and hope within this prayer to try and live by. To really live this prayer isn't always easy and sometimes impossible, but I find when I at least try, my day is filled with beauty.
This teaches me to love, to forgive, and to understand others. This prayer helps me to understand that by being a channel of light for others, I naturally will grow and heal in the process. I hope you enjoy this prayer as much as I have!
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace!
That where there is hatred, I may bring love.
That where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness.
That where there is discord, I may bring harmony.
That where there is error, I may bring truth.
That where there is doubt, I may bring faith.
That where there is despair, I may bring hope.
That where there are shadows, I may bring light.
That where there is sadness, I may bring joy.
Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort, than to be comforted.
To understand, than to be understood.
To love, than to be loved.
For it is by self-forgetting that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven. Amen. Another prayer that has changed my life is the Acceptance Prayer, this can be challenging to live by everyday too, but when I do manage to get it right my day just flows with ease. To me, this prayer beautifully states that if I can accept life just as it is, without me trying to re-arrange everything to suit me, I can find peace. I can not change or control what others do or how they react, I can only change me and how I choose to react to situations.
Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation ~ some fact of my life ~ unacceptable to me and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God's world by mistake. Unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world, as what needs to be changed in me and my attitudes.
